ABOUT US
Lincoln County High School is the largest high school in Fayetteville, TN. LCHS is home to approximately 1,200 students in grades 10-12. The current site of LCHS was built on the banks of the Elk River in 1979. Students who attend LCHS mostly arrive from the 5 k-8 feeder schools. (Highland Rim, Blanche, Unity, South Lincoln, and Flintville) The LCHS Band originated in 1979 under the direction of Mr. Richard Bagwell. The current director of bands at LCHS is Mr. Chase Hampton, who joined LCDOE in June of 2020. Roughly 50 students are currently enrolled in band at LCHS. The LCHS Falcon Band offers various outlets for students to grow and perform such as Marching Band, Concert Band, Color Guard, Pep Band, Jazz Band, Small Ensembles, Percussion Ensemble. Students are also afforded opportunities to participate in Honor Bands such as Mid-State, All-State, UAH Honor Band, Samford Honor Band, Ole Miss, UTM Honor Band, UNA Honor Band Tri-Lakes Honor Band and the TN Gov School for the Arts.
